This just in today from TobyMac's team...
You all might remember earlier this year in April when we asked you to take part in the "Run for Hope." Thank you SO much to
all of you who joined in to help raise over $5000!! TobyMac and his wife Amanda
ran the half-marathon encouraged by your support as they ran through beautiful Nashvegas (what we like to call Nashville, Tenn).
Now we're gearing up for next year's run! We're steppin' it up ... we want to invite you to come along and run with TobyMac! Just like last year, we are running to raise money for New Hope Academy, a multicultural school that is living out the beauty of diversity. But this year we'll be representin' as TEAM TOBYMAC aka 'The Freakazoids' (that's right!). This is a great opportunity to get in shape AND support the cause of New Hope through tobyMac's vision for diversity. Runners and walkers of ALL levels welcome!
Here are the details ...
WHAT WE PROVIDE
-Complete online training plan, motivational & diet tips
-Sample fund-raising letter, emails, and social media strategies
-Official TEAM TOBYMAC jersey, t-shirt, and water bottle
-Friday evening early dinner with TobyMac
-Friday evening unplugged TobyMac concert and studio tour
-Race day group photo
-Private after-race festivities
-Chance to enjoy a private luncheon with TobyMac*
WHAT YOU PROVIDE
-$85 registration fee ($110 after December 31)
-raise donations totaling at least $1,000*
-transportation and lodging (April 23-25, 2010)
-run Country Music Half Marathon with TEAM TOBYMAC aka 'The Freakazoids'
*Once you raise the $1,000, your registration fee will be refunded. Anyone raising $2,000 or more will be included in the private luncheon with tobyMac
TEAM TOBYMAC aka 'The Freakazoids' is a mini-team under the umbrella of Powered by Hope, the team of New Hope Academy. Together, we are supporting a mission to turn racial division, class segregation, and spiritual poverty into possibility, community and vision.
